I, like a lot of leaders, have struggled at times to communicate effectively with teams and individuals I work with.  I have found it challenging to juggle all of the desired outcomes of communication while leading groups with diverse perspectives and lived experiences.  I want them to feel valued and appreciated but also understand the needs of a respective business and address those needs with a sense of urgency.  Rachel's coaching helped me see and understand that my priority for communication must be in the way that I deliver my perspective and my intent.  And to stop fixating on how a message delivered with the best of intentions would be received.  She worked with me on the destructive inner chatter that can muddy the waters of my communication and lead to self-conscious delivery and second-guessing.  I appreciated her in-depth approach, active role-playing, and exposure to a wide variety of methods and exercises that were used throughout the course to help me communicate more confidently.  I am sure I will use many of the tools Rachel used to coach me throughout my career as I improve my own communication and help others do the same.  After working with Rachel, I feel so much more aware of how I want to communicate and so much more well-equipped to communicate in a way that aligns with my values as a person and as a leader.  I would recommend Rachel as a coach for anyone who feels like they would like to communicate more confidently and clearly while also maintaining their sense of humanity with their colleagues.

The coaching process has been a game-changer. Initially, my communication was labored, inauthentic, and fragmented. The coaching transformed conversations into a more comfortable, organic, and authentic experience, akin to wearing a loose garment. The approach, personalized grounding scenarios, and the Lazarus technique were instrumental in reshaping my communication skills within a short span of six weeks. The impact of the coaching extends beyond personal growth, influencing my organization at Google. The coaching's unique focus on energetic boundaries, inner communication, and challenging intuition has proven to be transformative. It functions as an executive communication MBA, finely tuned for success at the higher echelons. The coaching, with its no-nonsense, results-oriented approach, stands out among others. The return on investment surpasses any previous coaching experiences. I recommend it for those earnest about improving their communication skills, with benefits extending to personal relationships and parenting. The coaching feels like a graduation—a nostalgic end and an exciting beginning. Once a participant, always a beneficiary. The work's impact is immeasurable and invaluable.

I had the opportunity to work with Rachel last year on communications training. It started with an initial consultation sit-down (virtually) to understand my goals and expected outcomes from the program. Rachel's program is not a one-size-fits-all program. What makes it unique in my opinion, is that it is tailored to your specific needs and goals, AND adjustable in real-time as you progress through the program! We pivoted a few times based on the insights I learned about myself in the various contexts of what I wanted to improve. Things that I thought were weaknesses were superpowers that I was able to recognize and redirect to perform better in my job and relationships. Rachel's approach is unique as well (no spoiler alerts given) in how she approaches the sessions with constructive and direct feedback in a way that maximizes the benefit you receive and actions that you can put into practice immediately. I also found that as time passed, I continued to use the techniques taught by Rachel in our sessions. Communication is what we see on the outside from people, but it originates from the internal mindfulness that Rachel taps into, so that you are more natural and effective, not just in your communication message but in how you deliver it in your unique style. In the end, it's about bringing out the internal you, so that you can be more confident and exceptional in a way that is unique to you!

I think what’s been most reflected in the work that we’ve done is just how much I’m comfortable letting the words rest. I don’t need to overthink or over-explain nearly as much as I used to because I know what I said is enough. This has led to much less stress in my workplace, and how I communicate, despite internal changes leading me to have to communicate more than ever.

Work has ramped up since we’ve been working together, and I feel well-equipped now to meet it. Amazingly, our work’s end coincided with the emergence of chatGPT. I wonder how many people may use that technology instead of trying to find their voice. Chat GPT may help people clean up the communication that pours out. However, working with Rachel helped to clean up the communication that starts within. We took stock of my core beliefs and the mental chatter to see what still served me and then cleaned out the detritus. In that cleaner, brighter better organized inner space, I found the ability to *listen* for my inner voice, to trust it to breathe into it, and to calm my nervous system down enough to hear it tell me what I always knew I needed to say. And finally got the confidence to breathe out again and just let the words flow.

“My breath connects the depths” is a mantra I keep going back to. I used to feel choked up by emotions half the time, due to the disconnection of head and heart, the words get lost. Going through your course in our work together helped me to re-architect the inner channels and self-beliefs that existed between my heart and my head. And now I can breathe easier about it!

When it came to communicating in front of many people or presenting at work, I’ve had bad experiences with nervousness, anxiety, and fear, to the point that I would limit my speaking to the minimum. I’ve always considered myself as quiet, introvert, hate attention to myself, etc.

I had always thought that improving communication skills means, improving speaking, vocabulary, and language skills and that’s what I've tried for many years. No doubt I've improved my skills using different coaching and courses, but it never felt enough.

So when I saw Rachel’s introspective approach to communications skills and one of the top 10 coaches in communications skills I knew this was different, contacted her, and set up our coaching sessions right away. Her approach focuses on deep mental work and introspection to release your "communication blocks”.

After just 3 weeks, I’ve had huge shifts. I’ve started looking at communicating in front of a group of people as a positive experience. While speaking, I’m no longer focused on myself, my language, presentation, or the inner dialogue in my head, and speech just flows. I started being open in discussions and asking questions with curiosity.

After so many years of trying to get better at speaking, the results I’m seeing within a few weeks are tremendous. I feel I’d lost this natural skill of speaking and I’m excited to get it back.

I recommend Rachel if you think you are stuck and you will never be good at speaking. Her coaching has helped me remove the mental blocks and be the free version of myself.
